March the Month is closed
Registrations for March’s edition of the challenge is now closed. But you can register your interest in the next March the Month taking place in September 2021. Take on the challenge and walk 11,000 steps a day throughout the month to help save men’s lives.
The money you raise by taking part in March the Month will support men like Paul.
Paul was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2018 after finding out his age put him at higher risk of getting the disease. He was just 57 years old. Critically his prostate cancer was caught early, before it had a chance to spread outside the prostate, and he’s on the road to recovery. Since his diagnosis, Paul’s taken part in March the Month several years on the trot to raise vital funds and awareness.
“I want men to be aware of their risks of the disease and to speak to their GP if they have any concerns - sooner rather than later.”
Lifesaving research to help get men diagnosed earlier saved Paul’s life. But this isn’t always the case and there’s still a big problem we need to tackle. Over 11,000 dads, partners, grandads, sons, brothers, uncles and mates lose their lives to prostate cancer every year. Many of these men could have been cured if their prostate cancer had been detected sooner. We’re marching to make sure men like Paul are diagnosed earlier so more lives can be saved.
