Just about a month since I posted and with us moving home and getting back to work I expected my steps to drop off the scale but my app say I have fitted in another 111 000 steps so absolutely smashed my target
In fact found the walking ultimately a lot easier than sitting working at the laptop from energy and comfort point of view.

Mixed week for walking definitely found it more challenging physically this week. Also we are about to move house so busy with that and done a few more hours of work last week so had less time for walking.
Thank you everyone who has walked with me as well as those who have donated. I am averaging 11000 steps/day but I suspect it will take into April to complete with work and house move. I hope people will give me their forbearance.

Reached 40% of my steps today.

After a great 9 days I have nearly cracked 1/3 of the total target steps. More importantly thank you for all the support in donations and the oppourtunity to talk about the experiences.
Now reached over £4000.

Fabulous first few days with perfect weather. Thank you to the members of the Rotary Club of Stamford who kindly allowed me to speak and donated on Wednesday lunchtime.

1st March
Big thanks to everyone who is supporting me and has been so generous. Especially all the team in #North West Anglia who have been brilliant without exception. After the op on the 3rd January I got the all clear this week.

24th January
For those people who have been so generous and whom I can't thank personally as they have chosen to remain anonymous a very big thank you.
22nd January
Having been diagnosed with cancer in November and had surgery on 3rd January. I am aiming to raise money for this very worthy charity that has helped me.
So if you could donate to help me reach my target I would very much appreciate it.
I am starting this challenge with the ability to walk nearly a mile/day on a good day. So it will be a challenge to get enough to consistently walk 11.000 step every day.
